Spring Break 2008

We had a great Spring Break in Palm Desert. REALLY WILD! Ha ha :) Really though we had a great time. Our good friends the Wickhams went with us (see Kate in the yellow floaty. She can swim but thought the floaty was fun to try out).  Todd was always in the pool with the kids. I'm a wimp and didn't want to get wet all the time.

One afternoon Todd spent an hour or more pulling the kids around the pool in a Kanga line. They loved it! It was pretty funny to watch.

The day we left we decided to visit The Living Desert. It is sort of like the San Diego Wild Animal Park but not nearly as good. Of course it was 100 degrees that day!

Here are the kids at The Living Desert. The kids loved the butterfly exhibit so we spent most of our time there. Bella was a little disappointed that there were not as many animals as she thought there would be. What can we say she is a little spoiled by the San Diego Zoo.

Preston was not dissapointed though! There was a huge model train exhibit at the Living Desert. I'm not to sure what the two had to do with the other but Preston could care less why they were there he just wanted to watch them. Preston could have stayed there all day watching the trains going and coming. It was worth sitting in the 100 degree heat to see how happy he was!

You can see most of the Wickham and Wilson kids enjoying their ice cream one night (Kate is not pictured). They were always so busy swimming and playing all day that this was one of the few times we could get a picture of the kids together! Take a closer look at Preston's shirt if you can. It only got worse!

Fun vacation Katy! That is great that you were able to go with Tiffany and her cute family. Loved the pic of all the kids eating ice cream. You and Tiffany are darling friends! Glad you had a good time.
