Bed time can be challenging around our house. This night I left it to Todd. As I cleaned up dinner (looked at a magazine and checked e-mail) I could hear all sorts of things from the upstairs. The kids were laughing and yelling, playing and splashing. I wondered if they were really getting ready for bed or if when I finally went upstairs to "help". I thought I would have to take charge and get them all ready myself. But when I went up the kids were all clean, in their PJ's and most importantly happy. I was happy to see Todd had the camera out and took some cute pictures.
Listening to Todd and the kids that night made me remember what a great dad Todd is. Todd can make even routine thing like bath time fun. He gives up so much free time and what could be some guy time to be with the kids. Todd always wants to include them in the activities he loves, like going to ball games, recently the U.S Open at Torrey Pines and of course the surfing. Where as I tend to be scared to try new things with the kids he loves it. He is sooo patient and really takes the time to talk to them. I know the kids feel his love for them. Love You Todd.
